In Partnership with Ashfield

At Ashfield CE we believe that working in partnership with other organisations is paramount to the success of any community enterprise. We therefore offer space and support for new businesses to establish themselves or grow and for existing organisations to reach out to other areas and members of the community. If you'd like more information on how we can support you or your organisation, please get in touch.

Local Roots is a small charity organisation whose focus is getting children outdoors fostering a love for nature and their community. The organisation has a 1.8 acre site within our grounds here at Ashfield. On site Local Roots runs Forest School sessions for schools and nurseries, a Nature Playgroup, Home Educators meet ups, After School and Holidays Clubs as well as regular community events promoting the outdoors. For more information about Local Roots please click here.

Play Radnor, our local Play Network, has set up a wonderful children's play area for all to use. A great place to play while the grown ups tend to the allotment. The garden offers a small willow maze, play houses, ride ons and many more play opportunities for young children to enjoy. Local nurseries and parents are welcome to bring groups to use this facility anytime. The garden is also host to an outdoor playgroup every Monday afternoon.
